The Centre for Eye Research Ireland (CERI) is located on the TU Dublin city campus - Grangegorman. The campus can be entered from one of the three entrances:
There is another HSE Ophthalmology building on site that many visitors are directed toward by accident if they ask for directions. Please ensure you follow the directions above so you go to the Greenway Hub and not the HSE building. If you are not sure how to find us please call your Study Investigator.
Unfortunately we do not have free parking for CERI visitors. There is limited street parking on Grangegorman Lower road. The easiest way to pay is to use the parking tag app and register your car. There is also street parking on Rathdown road which must be approached from the North Circular road as there is a one-way system in operation. Another option is a paid public car park at the Phoenix care centre which is located at the North Circular road entrance to the university campus. This car park is controlled by Apcor.
CERI is located walking distance from Smithfield Luas stop (approx 12 min walk) and Grangegorman Luas stop (approx 4 min walk). The campus is also serves by multiple bus routes, including 46a bus (stop North Circular road, Grangegorman), enter the campus through the North circular road entrance. Buses 37, 39, 39a and 70 stop at Prussia street which is another entrance to the TU Dulbin campus.
1. The main entrance to TU Dublin Grangegorman campus is on Grangegorman Road Lower Dublin 7. (See photo 1). Parking on Grangegorman Road Lower is paid parking. The green Luas stop is a 5-minute walk from the main entrance (please get off at the Grangegorman stop not Broadstone DIT).
2. When you walk through the main gates there will be old buildings on your left and right. Keep walking past them (toward the football pitches) and the next green glass building on your right is the Greenway Hub and that's where we are located. (See photo 2)
